We appreciate you taking the time to read Famvent's Terms of Service. If unknown our Terms of Service is a legal contract between you as a user or consumer and us or Famvent. By reading this, you are stating that you have the power to agree to these Terms of Service as well. These Terms of Services explain how you are permitted to use the Famvent mobile application for IOS for the time being and other services, as well as the Famvent's website located at famvent.com. Unless otherwise specified, all references to us include the services available through the Famvent application for IOS mobile devices and Famvent's website, as well as any software that Famvent provides to you that allows you to access the Services from a mobile device and any other technology that may be used. By browsing, accessing, linking, streaming, viewing, using, or downloading information from us, you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, our Cookies Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of Famvent. If you may not agree, please do not use our service now or ever. Please note by signing up for an account on Famvent, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Usage

Based on your area or location we may block the usage of our service. We may also block the usage of our service if a user does not have an IOS mobile device. We may add locations of availability at any time along with compatibility with Android or other native devices. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that you are at least 17 years of age. If you are not at least 17 years old, you may not use our services at any time or in any manner or submit any information to us, our site, or our app. If you are the age of 17, you may only use our service with the approval of a parent or guardian. We may, in our sole discretion, refuse to offer our service to any person or entity. We without notice, may terminate your right to use our service or anything a part of our service, and prevent your future access to use our service or any aspect a part of our service. By using our Service you accept our Terms of Service (EULA).

Your User Account

In order to use our service, you need to create an account with us. When doing so you are responsible for using the settings available to protect your personal information or personal data. By creating an account you acknowledge the fact that you are responsible for all activity under your account including unauthorized activities. By any means, you may not create an account to impersonate someone else using the same information or data as that person. You agree to notify us of unauthorized use of your account information or data, or any other breach of security that you suspect relating to our service. In addition, our service may offer you the opportunity to share content on third-party applications or websites. We do not control these services and we are not responsible for them. Henceforth, we fully disclaim all liability associated with them.

Verified Account

By having a verified account you acknowledge and agree with these terms. You may not harass, or attempt cyber or physical harm upon anyone. You are to not commit any unlawful actions against someone else. You are not to shame anyone else. You are not to spread negativity on our platform or submit a hateful speech to our service by any means necessary. By having a verified account, you represent Famvent and our decision in verifying your account. Any violation of these regulations will result in an immediate reversal of verification and may result in an account suspension or closure. For more information please visit our verification page.

Distribution of Third-Party Channels

Our Terms of Service are between you and us only and not with others or third-party channels. Software made available for your use in connection with an Apple®-branded product such as “Apple-Enabled Software,” is set forth in these Terms of Service. This also includes other terms and conditions. Your usage of Apple-Enabled Software(s) must comply with Apple’s then-current App Store Terms of Service as well.

Creating Tags on Famvent

Users can create their own tags to fit their lifestyles and niches. To create a tag please head over to your settings and navigate to privacy and safety. From there hit, "Topics and Interests" and proceed with creating tags. There are restrictions and limits when creating tags such as

Users may not create tags that deem inappropriate, if so account deletion or tag removal will be done accordingly.

Users may not create a tag to harass another user. If done so, tag removal and account deletion will be done accordingly.

Users have the ability to report tags they feel violate our conduct.

Tags are not hashtags and will not count as one.

We will handle your personal information abiding by our Privacy Policy while respecting your privacy as well. Using our service means that you consent to the collection and use of your personal information submitted by you. You acknowledge the transmission of information by the Internet is never completely secure. We do not guarantee the security of any information transmitted to or from our service and or submission of any information or to any external sites linked to our service. You acknowledge that any information you submit to our service may be viewable by all other users of the service and any third party.

Information You Submit

Please be aware that you are responsible for any material you submit to our service. Famvent is NOT responsible for anything you may submit to our service. By submitting anything to our service you agree to our safety rules and community guidelines displayed below. Famvent may monitor, delete, modify, screen, or anything of that sort to information that is submitted to us for any reason. This is for our users' safety and to keep the experience amazing throughout Famvent. By reading, you grant Famvent a fully paid, sub-license worldwide license that includes the right to sub-license through multiple tiers, to use, reproduce, publicly perform, publicly display, modify, prepare works, publish, transmit and distribute each piece of information submitted through our service, in any shape/ form, medium or distribution method, developed, and authorized by others to do the same. If unknown to you or any reader, this, described above, is a "Submission License." By reading, you agree to pay for all royalties, fees, damages, and any other monies owing to any person by reason of anything submitted and posted by you through our service. No use of information submitted in accordance with the Submission License will entitle you to any compensation from Famvent, or any third party.

Your Safety

Your safety is our biggest concern. Here at Famvent, we make sure to give you the best experience possible so that you can have fun and enjoy using our service. Though when you use our service you agree that you abide by our safety rules and measures. You will not violate any law, any placed contract, and any third-party right. You may and will not unlawfully injure another person or damage their property, whilst being solely responsible for your conduct while using our service. You use our service, Famvent, at your own risk.

By using our service, you are to not create, post, share, or send anything that violates our terms.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share, violent activity on our service.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share pornography or graphics containing anything of that matter.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share anything contrary to us or anyone of desire.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share discriminative content at any time on our platform.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share anything that violates any legal right or post anything that can raise legal liability.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share anything that will ruin another user's experience on the platform.

You will not create, post, discuss, or share any type of hate speech.

Violations against the above will be followed by account closure. Famvent reserves the right to revoke a user's ability to create, post, discuss, or share anything that is submitted through our app. Famvent reserves the right to delete anything that violates the Term of Service without making you aware or notifying you of such change or restriction. As for the law, or to the extent the law allows, we reserve the right to pull or show your identity or any other information we have about you if a complaint or legal action arises from anything you create, post, discuss, or share. When legally required Famvent will work with law enforcement agencies in alleged illegal activity on our platform. As for this, unauthorized use of Third-Party content contained on our platform may violate certain laws and regulations put into place.

Mobile Usage

Usage of Famvent through a mobile device such as the "iPhone" will require a wireless connection. Famvent includes in-app text messaging and by reading this, if any rates apply, you as a user, are responsible for all applicable fees and charges made. You are in agreement with us and your mobile service or communications provider. Famvent is not responsible for slow networks and connection speeds unavailable features due to slow network speed or connection. Henceforth, Famvent is not responsible for any of your disclosed data or information breaches from third parties from the usage of our platform.

Interruptions

You as a user of Famvent, are responsible for your own internet connection and speed. Famvent is not held responsible for your connection interruptions or breaches. You are responsible for obtaining any connection or internet connection needed to use Famvent.

Events

By attending an event of your choosing on our platform, you choose to attend at your own risk. If you may come across an event that seems suspicious, please report the said event and we will review and take necessary action. With that being said please be mindful of attending events. When creating an event you abide by our terms and anything posted will be held against you for any reason of being reported. Creating events mean that you are holding yourself accountable for damages that may be present upon event time or during event time.

Anonymous Vents

Anonymous vents will stay hidden at all times unless a users decides to reveal themselves or gets blocked by another user.

You may not post any explicit content with this mode. Content posted will be removed and you may be penalized for it.

If threats against a school are posted, we may contact the school being threatened.

Users may not bully or harass other students.

We, Famvent, have the ability to see who posts anonymous vents and actions may be taken if something may seem suspicious. Other people do not have the ability to see other users who post anonymous vents unless they block an abusive user and navigate to their blocked list.

Famvent Dating

Famvent Dating is for college students to make friends/ relationships easy. We're here to fix online dating for good. Users who use famvent Dating will need to be at least 18 years of age or older. Users who are not of age will not be permitted to use the Service.

You will not create a famvent Dating profile to harm other people.

You will not create a famvent Dating profile that contains any sort of pornographic, adult, or violent group.

You will not create a famvent Dating profile that does not show your face in any sort in form.

You will not create a famvent Dating profile to negatively impact another user's experience on our platform.

You will not create a famvent Dating profile to spread inappropriate or hateful messages.

Groups

Creating groups is a fun way to connect with others of the same interests or niches. By creating groups you abide by our terms and will not break any rules set.

You will not create a group meant to harass another user.

You will not create any sort of pornographic, adult, or violent group.

You will not create a group to negatively impact another user's experience on our platform.

You will not create a group to spread inappropriate or hateful messages.

Any violation of our group regulations will result in an account ban. When creating a group you acknowledge and agree with our Terms of Service.

Famspaces

Creating collections is a unique way of showing your enjoyment of different events or simply your life. It can range from posting your project car parts to pictures of you at your favorite concert! By creating collections you abide by our terms and will not break any rules set.

You will not create a Famspace meant to harass another user.

You will not create any sort of pornographic, adult, or violent Famspace and post the listed items in your Famspace.

You will not create a Famspace to negatively impact another user's experience on our platform.

You will not create a Famspace to spread inappropriate or hateful messages.

Any violation of our group regulations will result in an account ban. When creating a collection you acknowledge and agree with our Terms of Service.
